Elma Electronic now offers the industry’s first development chassis for VNX+ (VITA 90) modules. The new 3-slot FlexVNX+ enables rapid board bring-up, validation, and testing of VNX+ plug-in cards (PICs), allowing system engineers to quickly and effectively evaluate and integrate VNX+ payload modules. The SOSA aligned platform also ensures ecosystem interoperability and future system upgrade paths.
Elma Electronic has formed a strategic system integrator agreement in the US with embedded solutions provider, TEWS Technologies. Through collaboration and shared expertise, the two companies will expand the support available for embedded system integration and customization across multiple open standards-based platforms offered by Elma’s US system integration business.
Elma Electronic’s Liquid Flow-Through (LFT) VITA 48.4 development chassis enables rapid prototyping and testing of up to six 6U OpenVPX plug-in cards (PICs) with power densities of 200 W or more. The self-contained platform is designed for proof-of-concept testing and development tasks in a variety of mission-critical aerospace and defense environments. Specific applications include sensor payloads, electronic warfare (EW), C5ISR, navigation systems and target tracking and display.
