In 2019, Air Force, Army, and Navy leadership mandated that the U.S. military use a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for new program designs and refreshes, calling MOSA a warfighting imperative. MOSA strategies are now being applied across multiple domains air, sea, land, space, and electromagnetic spectrum.
Unmanned systems are a key component in each of those areas. MOSA open architecture initiatives such as the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), and others are affecting the hardware and software designs of platforms flight controls, ISR payloads, communications, and more.
This session covers how the military is applying MOSA initiatives and strategies to embedded electronics designs in unmanned platforms.
Speakers: Mark Littlefield, Elma Electronic and Rodger Hosking, Mercury Systems
The widespread adoption and successful early implementations of SOSA are gaining momentum both in the United States and globally and is increasingly seen in programs of record. This webinar delve into upcoming developments that have the potential to elevate your designs to new levels of performance.
This webinar pulls together experts in design and implementation of MOSA compliant hardware and software components that can be used to develop and deploy RF designs in field applications
