Support of the MOSA initiatives is accelerating, thanks to modular open standards architectures like SOSA and MORA. Adoption is helping to streamline the process of updating adaptable and scalable common compute elements for the warfighter; more specifically, support for avionic and vetronic RF systems is even more approachable.
The Modular Open Radio Frequency Architecture (MORA) accelerates the development of open standards-based RF and microwave modules that can be used in systems enabled by the CMOSS and SOSA standards-based designed for ground vehicles. MORA leverages the Vehicular Integration for C5ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) interfaces aligned to MORA for the VICTORY Data Bus (VBD) and MORA Low Latency Bus (ML2B) for data sharing.
This webinar pulls together experts in design and implementation of hardware and software components that can be used to develop and deploy RF designs in field applications, including adaptive, multi-mission reuse of these modular components. Design considerations run from the enclosure platforms, designed to support the CMOSS vehicular footprints (CMFF & SAVE), to payload cards that support mission-specific functionality, to the software and firmware elements that enable the system to be ready for MORA compatible RF deployment. The session concludes with an interactive Q&A period.
